ROLPH SCARLETT
His jewelry has been recognized
internationally through exhibition catalogues such as
”Designed for Delight, Alternative Aspects of 20th Century
Decorative Arts”, published
by the Montreal Museum of Decorative Arts in 1997.
Scarlett was a metal smith of
great originality. He considered his bracelets as free standing sculptures
and his necklaces as wearable body decoration. His jewelry medium
transformed a non-objective painting into three-dimensional form.
